Pastor’s Vision Letter
The Bethel Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers committed to the Word of God, the will of God, and the purpose of God for the Church of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to minister to the family, the church, the community, and the world. We seek to reach, teach and train believers in how to be victorious in every area of their life. To fulfill this goal we offer free courses that use the teachings of Jesus on the Hundredfold Harvest as outlined in the thirteenth chapter of Matthew and the fourth chapter of Mark, to train and transform believers into Hundredfold believers which is one of the foundational visions of our church.
Our church theme for 2020 is Rebuilding Breaches In The Wall Redux. This there is a continuation of the 2019 theme whose work was not finished. As a church of 96 years we are striving to reinvigorate and rebuild our church program for the challenges of 2020. We seek to transform believers into hundredfold believers, church members into kingdom citizens, and godly men and women into sons and daughters of God.
We place a strong emphasis on world missions and evangelism through our School of World Missions which trains short-term missionaries and apostolic teams to minister the love of Jesus Christ in foreign lands. Regularly, we send teams to various countries aground the globe and have done so form more than 22 years reaching over 60 nations in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, North America, the Carribbean, and Pacific Islands. Our vision is to prepare and equip believers to effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ and win souls to the Kingdom of God in obedience to the Lord’s commandment in Matthew 28:19-20.
Great importance is also placed on training up youth and young adults, the new generation of believers with in our church, to be ready for leadership. Our vision is to prepare and train them to take their place now within the body of Christ to impact their generation and generations to come, victoriously for Jesus Christ.
